XML Blog Template
Everyone thinks that to have a decent blog interface, you need a WordPress script with various plugins, or a Blogger or Typepad account. But, the truth is, it's as simple as a bit of structured coding. XML (for "eXtensible Markup Language") is the traditional way that RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are created. As it already has a chronological feel implied by its' very structure, the RSS feed can easily be re-fashioned to become a blog. After having problems for year with blog user/admin interfaces that had too many bells and whistles when all I really needed was a regular, simple way to document my personal experiences with online careerism. This is the skeletal structural template of an .xml page;
To add more entries to your XML blog, just repeat the structure between
'<'item'>' and '<'/item'>'
as many times as you need to create entry content.
