Many people have a problem with the embedding of .swf-format videos into HTML/PHP pages, resulting in non-transmission of the content. The below coding should work for you in this regard (and has been successfully tested in the validation process);

< object data="/filename.swf" type="video/swf" width="0" height="0" >
< param name="movie" value="/filename.swf" >
< /object >
< embed src="/filename.swf"hidden="true" autostart="true" loop="false" >
< noembed >
< bgsound src="/filename.swf" loop="false" >
< /noembed >

This is another of the two ways that I use to embed .swf video into HTML/PHP web pages.
This should be used as a springboard to mapping out the embed codes of other video formats (.mpeg|.mp4|etc.).

< param name="movie" value="http://yoursite.com/filename.swf" / >
< embed src="http://yoursite.com/filename.swf" width="498" height="380" name="test1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer" / >
